Events
These events are about either vending events or plays in the Chicagoland area. Our company participates in the vending events. The plays, with admission of less than $30, are either about the African American experience or produced by theater groups in which at least half of the members are African American.>
We participate in conventions, festivals and bazaars in the Chicagoland area. Be sure to look for our booth at:
- Juneteenth Celebration, Abbott Park, 49 E. 95th St., Chicago, IL, June 21 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Covenant Expo, Covenant UCC Church, 1130 E. 154th St., South Holland, IL, June 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Shama Ministries Community Gospel Festival, Abbott Park, 49 E. 95th St., Chicago, IL, July 19 from noon until 7 p.m.
- Atlas Summer Festival, Atlas Senior Center, 1767 E. 79th St., Chicago, IL, August 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Illinois Annual A.M.E. Ministerial Alliance Conference, Decatur Conference Center & Hotel, 4191 W. U.S. 36, Decatur, IL, September 8-14.
These plays are either about the African American Experience or performed by troupes with at least 50 per cent African Americans. Their admission is under $30:
